About CSC
Sarah Nordstrom is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. In 2015 she began her career working in education while attending graduate school for School Psychology at The University of Wisconsin- River Falls. Sarah spent her first four years as a school psychologist in a Federal Setting IV School District, where she learned a plethora of information about the individualized needs of students and behavioral consultation. After gaining experience in Minnesota school districts, Sarah began her work as an independent contractor providing virtual and in-person services to Indigenous youth for a School District in South Dakota. As an independent contractor Sarah realized she could organize her time to efficiently and effectively provide services in education during a time when there is a shortage of school psychologists available to students and educators.
Through her company Connected Support Consulting, Sarah is dedicated to providing a multitude of services to schools in order to meet the unique needs of their student populations. Her most rewarding aspect of school psychology is rooted in the one to one work with students where their individual personalities shine. After having two daughters of her own she has become even more passionate about early intervention and advocacy for the individual needs of students. Additionally, Sarah has a drive for organization and systems level supports. Recently as an independent contractor, she has assisted in helping set up systems within the special education department to create a smoother and equitable referral system.
